Sarawak Advances Green Industry Goals Through Collaboration With Japan & Pertama Ferroalloys – UKAS
TOKYO: The Sarawak Government, Pertama Ferroalloys Sdn. Bhd., and the Ministry of Trade, Economy, and Industry of Japan (METI) convened here on Monday to strengthen bilateral cooperation on natural resource development and economic growth. According to a press release by Pertama Ferroalloys, the meeting discussed the potential of leveraging Japan’s advanced technologies to support Sarawak’s industrial and sustainable development goals. Key attendees included Sarawak Premier, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Abdul Rahman Zohari Tun Datuk Abang Openg, Sarawak Deputy Premier, Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan, and METI representatives, Yuzo Yamaguchi and Sarina Kishi. Also among those present were Pertama Ferroalloys Chairman, Hirotaka Suzuki and General Manager, Yuki Nakamura.
