Empowering the Community: Polytechnic Mukah’s Student Travel Program Promotes Consumer Advocacy and Service
Belawai, February 9, 2025 – The Polytechnic Mukah proudly concluded its Student Travel Program from February 7th to 9th, 2025, aimed at enhancing consumer advocacy and community service among its students and local residents. The event took place across multiple venues, including the Rajang Village Hall, Jerijeh Village Hall, Belawai Village Hall, and Abang Gesa Primary School Belawai, bringing together diverse participants to foster collaboration and growth. The program was graced by Honourable Guest Datuk Haji Len Talif Salleh, Deputy Minister for the Ministry of Natural Resources and Urban Development (MuDENR), who emphasized the importance of education and community development in achieving sustainable goals. With a total participation of 241 individuals, the event attracted 68 students and 43 lecturers from Polytechnic Mukah, alongside 130 local community members and representatives from Pertama Ferroalloys. Notable representatives from Pertama Ferroalloys included Norhapizah binti Pen and Mr. Augustine Lawang, highlighting the strong partnership between
